This iconic series launched in 1953 is famous for its asymmetrical and heavy glass work. The base is exceptionally thick, creating spectacular light refraction effects. The inscription: Under the polished pontil, a fine engraving with a diamond point indicates "Holmegaard." The creator and date: The monogram "PL" of Per Lütken is visible just above the year "1960." The colour: It features a stunning amber/caramel colour (often referred to as Amber or Bi-colour with smoky reflections in the mass), which beautifully interacts with the variable thickness of the blown glass. Length / Width: Approximately 12 cm to 13 cm. Height (at the highest point): Approximately 5 cm to 6 cm. Weight: Very heavy for its size, often between 600 g and 800 g due to the thickness of the grey-green smoky glass. On the base, signs of use are present but not visible when the piece is placed, which has no chips or scratches elsewhere (See photos).
