Poetry and nature come to the table with this set of three antique plates (stamped allowing them to be dated circa 1840-1876) featuring a delicate "linotte" pattern, with a blue bird decoration, emblematic of the Creil & Montereau pottery. Each plate tells a story with its romantic and bucolic decor. A small treasure for lovers of antique earthenware and tables with old-world charm. Made of slightly ivory ironstone, these pieces exhibit a beautiful patina of time: micro-cracks, soft nuances… each detail adds to their authenticity. The floral decoration in blue tones, delicately antiquated, evokes a time when each plate told a story. The patina and slight crazing of the glaze reveal their great age (late 19th, early 20th century). This charming trio will be perfect for wall decoration, a collection, or a table with a strong character. The partially legible but recognisable stamp: "CREIL ET MONTEREAU": This indicates production between 1840 and 1876 (before the complete merger with Choisy-le-Roi in the HBCM group). The presence of the term "déposé" indicates a registered design, as was common at that time. In good condition for these plates over a century old, still quite shiny, with patina and signs of time; one plate has a small chip on the underside near the edge but is not visible when the plate is placed down. Diameter 22 cm. Height 3 cm.
