Poetry and nature are invited to the table with this set of three antique plates (stamp dating them circa 1840-1876) with a delicate "linotte" motif, a blue bird decoration, emblematic of the Creil & Montereau earthenware factories. Each plate tells a story with this romantic and bucolic decoration. A little treasure for lovers of antique earthenware and tables with the charm of yesteryear. In slightly ivory ironstone, these pieces present a beautiful patina of time: micro-cracks, soft nuances... each detail adds to their authenticity. The floral decoration in blue tones, delicately old-fashioned, evokes a time when each plate told a story. The patina and the slight crackle of the glaze reveal their beautiful antiquity (late 19th, early 20th). This charming trio will be perfect for a wall decoration, a collection, or a table with a strong character. Partially legible but recognizable stamp: "CREIL ET MONTEREAU": This is a production between 1840 and 1876 (before the complete merger with Choisy-le-Roi in the HBCM group). The presence of the mention "deposited" indicates a registered decoration, as was common at that time. Good condition for these plates, more than a hundred years old, still very shiny, patina and mark of time, one plate has a chip under the underside under the edge but not visible when the plate is placed. Diameter 22 cms. Height 3 cms.
