Table lamp n°599 by martinelli luce, known as serpente (or snake), designed by elio martinelli in 1965. The base and lamp arm are made of orange lacquered metal. The globe is made of white opaline methacrylate. A masterpiece of italian design, the serpente lamp is an icon in the field of lighting. The example presented here is in the 1/a version of 1968 and has a beautiful orange hue typical of the time. It comes from the interior of an important italian architect.
