White Cobra model table lamp. Designed by Elio Martinelli (1921-2004) Edition Martinelli Luce. Model created around 1968. Italian design. This is an original edition from the 70s, not a recent reissue! Table lamp model 629, marked under the base. It is very heavy to ensure stability when turned! Detail: Direct lighting table lamp consisting of two moulded resin bodies. Its steel base is connected to the upper part by a central joint allowing for 360° rotation. The internal reflector is made of aluminium painted white. It represents one of the first resin lamps produced with a particular moulding system. This lamp has a simple line and a geometric shape inscribed within a sphere. Thanks to the rotation of the arm, the reflector resembles the shape of a cobra ready to strike.
