Antique Folk Art Painted bridal chest

Primitive but highly decorative bridal chest from Romania. This chest is made of pine wood and dates from around 1900. The original painting is quite worn, which gives the whole its characteristic appearance. Some old repairs and traces of woodworm can be observed.
