Beautiful late 19th century wall bookcase with double doors

Very elegant bookcase / wall shelf in solid wood dating from the end of the 19th century. It opens with two glass doors on 3 shelves adjustable on 3 levels. We notice the very beautiful patina of the old wood, the irregularities of the glass when we look a little from the side (typical of the glass of the time) as well as the very pretty key with the floral border as well as the brass lock entry with a very original shape. All of it stands out on the wood creating a very beautiful effect. The left door is held thanks to two brass pistons which are fixed in the wood and the right one thanks to its lock. The shelves are original, in blackened wood, and very authentic. As are the lateral systems of integrated cleats (to adjust the height). The bottom has been added but this is only visible from the back. Very shallow and with a beautiful patina, this small bookcase really has a lot of charm. There are inevitable traces of wear, a few repairs here and there, but it is perfectly functional. The attachment tabs have been retained on the back, so it can be hung on a wall if desired.
