This superb Art Deco "Pinsons" bowl is a work by René Lalique (1860-1945). This bowl or salad bowl is decorated with delightful birds and leaves, molded in relief. This is the Pinsons bowl created in January 1933 by René Lalique, in pressed molded white glass. It was marketed in 1937, then 1947 and revived after 1951. This bowl measures 23.5 cm in diameter and 11 cm in height. Note: a large crack that runs from the rim to the base and small chips on the rim. There is no visible signature, but this model is referenced p.307 n° 10-386 in the "Catalogue raisonné René Lalique" by Felix Marcilhac.
