Safari armchair in wood & cognac leather by Wilhelm Kienzle for Wohnbedarf 1950

Safari armchair by Wilhelm Kienzle, Swiss edition Wohnbedarf, early 1950s. Structure in light oak, seat, backrest and armrests in thick leather stitched with saddle stitching. Reclining backrest via a butterfly screw. The woodwork has been cleaned and varnished. The leather has been cleaned and greased in several stages by saturation, revealing a deep and even cognac patina. Very good condition for age and use. H 82 cm × W 54 cm × D 65 cm.
