Qingdao - Antique Chinese buffet in solid elm no. 24

This antique Chinese sideboard is a unique piece, made from a period structure of solid elm. Originally, these large chests were used for storing rice and opened from the top via one or more hatches, which are now sealed. It consists of six drawers, added to the existing front to enhance its functionality for daily use, as well as three large open niches. This artisanal work allows the piece to integrate harmoniously into a wabi-sabi, rustic, or minimalist interior, while providing ample storage space. Dimensions: H 86cm X W 140cm X D 46cm.
