Italian vintage credenza in the style of Vittorio Dassi, 1950s

This mid-century vintage credenza was manufactured in Italy in the style of Vittorio Dassi some time in the 1950s. Especially the thick coat of gloss lacquer and use of balck varnisged elements with veneer reminds of Dassi's furniture from the same period. The credenza shows mastery of Italian craftsmanship with particular attention to detail as rich rosewood grain of veneered top and fronts. Also the interior inlayed with fruitwood as well as the brass details. The sideboard provides ample storage space in two compartments, each with an inside shelf. It’s a beautiful piece that enhances any interior with a vintage mid-century look. Overall, this piece of furniture is in original condition with minor traces of use.
