Ancient painting, Marine , signed and dated 1935

An ancient painting, oil on canvas depicting the port of the cotiniére on the island of oleron in stormy weather with a series of small boats sheltered by a and a lighthouse at the end of it, in an old gilded wooden frame. It is a famous small fishing port created with a first in 1843 and today it is one of the most important fishing port on the island. State: the canvas and the frame its original and have not undergone any restoration for the canvas and would perhaps deserve a little cleaning although I find that leaving it in its original aspect allows it to keep all its charm and authenticity. The frame presents many small shocks but nothing very important. The painting is signed at the bottom right (unidentified) and dated 1935 or 1933. The colors and proportions are very realistic and it will best decorate your interior, for lovers of this islands and the sea in general. Very rare to find a painting from this period and that describes getting small port at that time. Frame size: l 38.5 cm X h 22, 5 cm. Canvas size: l 33.5 cm X h 18 cm. Sending fast and neat.
