Scandinavian desk based on a Singer piece of furniture.

Maximum storage in a minimum space for this vintage Singer sewing cabinet transformed and restored into a desk with a fold-out top. Height 78cm. Width 82cm. Depth 45cm. Maximum footprint with the top open: 128cm. Legroom height: 60cm. Mounted on charming solid oak splayed legs, with the asymmetrical lines of its oak veneer shelves, the sewing machine used to pivot in its compartment through a hatch on the top. The hatch has been sealed with a black faux leather desk pad. The small flap underneath, which revealed a small storage space for spools, has been removed to provide access to the entire compartment where the machine was housed... Enough space for a laptop, for example... The varnish has been refreshed for a very good overall condition, now only showing micro traces of time if you get very, very close...
