Imposing vintage Scandinavian style lamp in carved turned wood with ring

Magnificent, imposing table lamp in mid-century Scandinavian design style, with a large, light-colored, turned wood base carved from solid wood and a large, loose wooden ring. Original socket and cord screwed onto a washer at the top, large vintage shade in cream/off-white fabric, rimmed with gold and brown plastic at the base and top, elongated and flattened. Base measures 37 cm in total height, 15 cm in maximum diameter (ring). 63 cm in total height with shade, 34-36 cm in maximum shade width, 20 cm in maximum shade depth. Cord length approximately 1 m. Can be used as a floor lamp or placed on a console table or chest of drawers. Unsigned. Very good overall condition, two cracks in the wood at the base, some discreet signs of wear, clean shade. It can be sold without the shade for €50 less. Functional. Approximately 3.5 kg. Equipment sold second-hand: inspection and connection to be carried out by a qualified professional.
