Midcentury wood turned adjustable table lamp with glass sphere, 1970s

Lamp from the 1970s with a turned wooden base made of stacked, ribbed elements. The centre piece is a flattened disc of swirled orange and yellow glass, with fine bubbles and streaks of colour running through it. The glass gives the lamp its character and looks great with the light on. The fitting and shade are adjustable, which is a rare feature. The shade can be tilted to direct the light where you want it, and it sits at an angle as shown in the photos. This is an original feature of the lamp. The lamp has been rewired with a new cord and refitted with a brass E27 fitting, so it is ready to use. The wood has a warm, even patina with the usual small signs of age, and the glass is in good condition. Please check the photos for details. Base only: 40 cm high Including shade: 58 cm high Shade diameter: 32 cm
