Very beautiful large vintage ashtray/trinket dish made of thick Murano glass, Italy, circa 1960-70. A superb piece with organic lines, crafted in stunning shades of smoky blue and amber. Its generous thickness and variations in colour create beautiful plays of transparency and light. Its free form is accented by three notches around the edge, typical of its original function as an ashtray. Its lovely size makes it a superb trinket dish or decorative object today. In good vintage condition, with no chips. There are signs of use, visible in the photos, as well as two small internal bubbles in the glass. Dimensions: Ø 19 cm × H 8.5 cm.
