Superb piece of Murano crystal in Mid-Century Modern style, with a unique organic silhouette. This trilobed dish was designed by the famous designer Flavio Poli for the prestigious Venetian manufacturer Seguso Vetri d'Arte during the 1950s/1960s. It perfectly illustrates the Sommerso technique (submerged glass), encasing a bicolour core of bright emerald green and intense magenta pink within a particularly thick and heavy translucent crystal envelope. Its curved three-lobed shape beautifully captures light, creating deep and contrasting optical reflections. A decorative object of high artisanal virtuosity, ideal as a centrepiece or a graphic touch on a Scandinavian sideboard. Designer: Flavio Poli.
