Woman with a bun, sculpture by Sylviane Descarpentries.

Woman with a bun, sculpture by Sylviane Descarpentries, a prominent ceramist from Valenciennes, wife of the painter Charles Betremieux. Glazed green terracotta. Monogrammed D underneath. Height of 15 cm. Unique object (and therefore rare) that has never been put on the market, direct provenance from the private collection of Sylviane Descarpentries. I have a whole collection of different pieces by the artist. Approximate dimensions (estimated from photos): width 6 cm, depth 6 cm.
