Theatre bench for 4 – Industrial style – Iron and sheet metal – Early 20th century

Public hall bench for 4 people, entirely made of iron and sheet metal, dating from the early 20th century (1900-1920). The structure consists of two sections of 2 seats assembled together, each equipped with armrests at the ends and a central armrest with slightly curved shapes. The seats are made of fixed flat sheet metal. The backrest is made of curved iron bars forming an arc characteristic of the furniture from this era. The whole piece shows a marked patina with extensive rust and remnants of original gold or ochre paint. An authentic piece of public furniture, to be restored or preserved in its current state for its industrial and historical aspect. Dimensions: H. 87 cm – L. 230 cm – Weight: 60 kg.
