19th century orientalist painting, Algerian landscape, signed watercolor drawing

Hello. I am offering this old work in ink and white chalk on brown watercolor paper. This landscape on the heights probably resembles a place in Algeria under a Mediterranean sun. The vegetation appears arid with brightness from left to right for a contrast between sun and half-light. This scene is animated by a few characters. We can see in the distance some historical monuments, two minarets, a mosque, as well as two steles in the foreground on the edge of the dirt road. On the horizon, the sea with two boats gives a very beautiful depth and a large space. This drawing of great finesse is the work of a professional artist, research on the monogram at the bottom right is to be done. Dimensions of the frame: 32 cm X 26 cm. Dimensions of the work: 17.5 cm X 13 cm. The orientalist-style wooden frame is more recent. It is robust and contrasts with the finesse of the drawing.
