Superb plate printed after a work by andré margat (1903-1997), representing detailed studies of wild boars and a canadian bison. This black and white print highlights the fine line and naturalistic precision characteristic of the artist's work. Dating from the period 1930-1950, this plate belongs to the animals series, exploring the morphology and expressiveness of animal species. Signed in pencil by the artist at the bottom of the composition. The whole, framed under glass in a sober black frame (total dimensions 30 X 40 cm), is in good general condition with some traces of time on the paper, without major alteration of the image.
