Antique late 19th-century bed with two asymmetrical panels in the shape of a gendarme's hat, richly decorated with gilded brass fillets. The headboards are framed by detached columns finished in spinning tops. The frame is made of solid oak, mahogany veneer, assembled with double Roman heads. Two support crosspieces reinforce the structure to accommodate the 140x190 bed base. Condition: Water marks on the panels visible in photos, but not affecting use.
