Vintage teak child bed, Denmark, 1960s

This vintage mid-century child teak bed was made some time in 1960s in Denmark. This piece features a teak frame showcasing warm tones and a smooth grain, solid wood sculptured corners and thick decorative strips. The bed with its lower height and total length of 150cm is meant to be used by children or youths, adding a great style to any children room or being a great addition to the main bedroom. The headboard and back frame speak for themselves; verneered wood has been carved and joined, with no visible screws, ensuring a seamless look. The entire wooden structure is built to last for decades, providing enduring comfort. The bed has been fully renovated, wooden frame has been cleaned and treated with protective oil to enhance the grain. We recreated missing legs in solid wood. Please note that the bed does not come with a mattress. The recommended mattress dimensions are 85 cm by 150 cm, with a height of at least 12 cm for proper comfort.
