Paul Van Hoeydonck, Pop Art screenprint No. 42/110, produced on ARCHES paper for 'IPPA' in 1987. Dimensions with frame: 81x60cm, without: 73x54cm. Paul Van Hoeydonck (1925–2025): Paul Van Hoeydonck was a major Belgian post-war artist, born in Antwerp. A figure of European modernism, he explored abstraction, light, industrial materials, and Pop Art. His most famous work, Fallen Astronaut, is the only sculpture ever placed on the Moon (Apollo 15, 1971). His protean work blends science, humanism, and futuristic aesthetics. He is now considered one of the pioneers of space art and the Belgian avant-garde.
