Copper and brass ceiling light, Scandinavia, 1930s.

Beautiful ceiling light nicely patinated, with a strong resemblance to the work of Hans Agne Jacobsson, but even more beautiful. Great play of shadows and warm, vibrant light. The copper and brass are very nicely patinated, creating an orange/red light. Interesting geometric shapes and clever construction: the light source (the bulb) is hidden inside the lamp, so don't expect a sea of light coming out. I would say it's suitable for cozy corners or nightclubs. Dimensions. Width: 28 cm. Height: 29 cm.
