Louis XVI style two-part sideboard with display case

Large and antique Louis XVI style 2-part sideboard with bronze trim and rosewood and fruitwood marquetry. High-quality furniture from the early 20th century. Low cabinet, sideboard with 4 doors and 4 half-moon drawers, curved side doors. Each door has a large marquetry motif in various wood species representing an amphora with flowers or an oval ribbon frame with flowers and leaves in its center. The drawers are equipped with bronze laurel wreath-shaped hanging handles. Interior fitted with a shelf (152x42cm) at mid-height. White and green marble worktop 26 mm thick. Above on 2 grooved columns is a display case of the same shape as the sideboard, a smaller size. The display case consists of 4 doors, 2 straight doors in the center and 2 curved side doors. Beautiful effect of the curved glass. The old, original glasses are beveled on the edges. Interior equipped with a glass shelf (132x29cm). A large bronze pediment (43x14cm) adorns this sideboard.
