Fritz van Daalen 4736-35 Fat-Lava Vase, Vintage Mid-Century Ceramic Vase from West Germany

A large and heavy (3.1 kg), mid-century fat lava vase with a shiny glaze in vibrant yellow-brown colours. Made somewhere between the 1950s and 1970s in west germany by fritz van daalen (1938-1973), evident by the maker's mark "vd", model number "4736-35" and place of origin "w-germany" on the bottom of the vase. Also has the original "vd w-germany" sticker on it. Made out of red clay. The vase is in great vintage condition, with a little chip at the base, no cracks nor repairs. A truly remarkable piece.
