Three-seater sofa by Maison Regain

Three-seater sofa in elm and leather, Maison Regain, ca. 1960s A low, wide sofa on a solid elm base, seating three to four people. The side panels double as legs and carry the seat on two curved rails. The leather lies loosely over the frame and falls in deep folds. The combination of heavy wood and soft leather recalls the work of Brazilian designer Percival Lafer. Pale golden elm and warm chestnut-brown leather, with a beautiful patina. In very good state, upholstery and frame show normal signs of wear.
