Antique trading counter

Made in Lyon in the 1930s by the company Pamega (original plaque visible on the façade), this piece embodies the French artisanal craftsmanship of the interwar period. The façade, made of oak veneer, features twelve elegant display compartments with patinated brass edges. It is equipped with an authentic Gardor cash drawer with double security, featuring a code anti-theft system and a mechanical bell alarm — a rare and highly collectible detail. The back includes four large drawers, a pull-out drawer, two central drawers, and several open storage spaces. The solid pine top has been replaced to ensure it is perfectly smooth and functional. The glass front, lined with mirrors, was designed to showcase the displayed goods. This majestic counter, both functional and steeped in history, would be perfect for a luxury boutique, a concept store, or a high-end showroom looking to combine authenticity and character.
