Important showcase library in Empire style made at the end of the 19th century. The piece features particularly elegant architecture, rhythmically accentuated by two detached columns and bases adorned with gilded bronze. The front opens with two large gridded doors providing access to several interior shelves. Very beautiful Empire ornamentation: laurel crowns on the lower panels, plant motifs, rosettes and stars at the top, richly decorated lock entries, as well as various gilded elements highlighting the lines of the piece. The doors retain their old metal grating as well as their locking system with a key. A particularly decorative library, also ideal as a showcase for displaying books, collectibles, or ceramics. Maximum height: 215 cm. Maximum width: 134 cm. Maximum depth: 52 cm. Very good overall condition considering its age, with signs of use, small marks, and visible old restorations in the photographs. The grating notably shows some minor deformations. Careful packaging (wardrobe disassembled, a very basic photo guide for reassembly will be provided to the buyer). At your disposal for any questions.
