Large 95 cm midcentury brutalist wood turned mushroom table lamp, 1950s

This gorgeous mushroom table lamp most likely originated as a floor lamp but at one point in time has been converted in to a lower version. The base with its brass doorknob feet in our opinion was the centre part of the floor lamp. The shade, although almost period correct ( 1960s ) is a later addition. The lamp has been rewired and refitted with a gorgeous brass fitting. The lamp base without the shade including the fitting measures at around 78 cm. Including the shade the lamp measures a whopping 96 cm so can also be used a low floor lamp.
