Midcentury brutalist chunky wood turned floor lamp, Charles Dudouyt style.

Lovely French "low" chunky floor lamp in wood turned oak with vintage rope shade, France ca 1950s. This floor lamp has been rewired and refitted for a general E27 lightbulb. The base is in great vintage condition with some wear due to its age and only the shade shows some small imperfections on the inside so not visible from the outside ( as can be seen in the pics ). We love the proportions on this chunky lamp as the base including the fitting measures around 131 cm and including the shade 154. The base and the shade both have a diameter of around 45-46 cm.
