Exceptional! Magnificent bench-chest of the nineteenth century. Made by a craftsman around the 1880s, this superb piece of furniture is entirely made of solid oak. It consists of a lower part for sitting and storing objects in the two drawers under the seat, and a high part for leaning. In fact, it can be placed against a wall, but also in the middle of a room. The design is quite simple, with straight recesses, without moldings, very sober. The two drawers open thanks to beautiful oval iron handles. Wood and metal have both taken absolutely sublime patinas and make it a unique piece of furniture. It has traces of time that make all its authenticity, but it is healthy. An anti-pest treatment has been passed in prevention. He spent more than a century in a parisian chapel, he is now destined to join a house of character where he would be perfect to furnish a majestic entrance. Size: Backrest height: 103 cm. Width: 106 cm. Depth: 43 cm. Seat height: 43 cm. Seat width: 106 cm. Seated depth: 38 cm. Weight: 35 kg.
