Beautiful vase by Carl Harry Stålhane for Rörstrand - SBC model in glazed stoneware - superb glossy glaze in a gradient of deep blue and black - small white collar - Height 15.5 cm. Width 8 cm. Base 5 cm. Signature under the base: R, 3 crowns, CHS, SBC - Very good condition, considering its age (circa 1960) - no cracks or chips - Carl Harry Stålhane (Sweden - 1920/1990) is one of the leaders of Swedish ceramics, with a very long and prolific history. A student of Gunnar Nylund, he succeeded him at the Rörstrand factory as artistic director and chief designer.
