Spectacular lamp made of gilded bronze and biscuit porcelain, originating from France in the first half of the 20th century. The circular bronze base features a pierced gallery with lattice motifs, supported by four robust Rococo-style legs with scrolls and acanthus leaves, ensuring perfect stability and an imposing aesthetic. The main figure is a biscuit porcelain sculpture representing two putti or cherubs interacting with fire (possibly an allegory of Love or Purification), a classic theme frequently found in fine porcelain workshops of the 18th and 19th centuries. Every muscle, expression, and fold in the cherubs is evident, offering a velvety texture that emulates fine marble. Note the detail of the wings and curly hair, signs of superior craftsmanship. The arm that holds the light emerges from the back of the sculpture with an organic curvature, mimicking a plant branch, which gives a sense of lightness and asymmetrical balance. In excellent vintage condition, the photos are part of the description. Dimensions: 51 cm high, 20 cm wide, and 26 cm deep. This is a magnificent collectible piece. It will be shipped with careful and secure packaging.
