Superb Louis XVI style lamp from the 1920s-30s. Made of bronze, gilding and original patina in very good condition. This young faun, crowned with a crown of vine branches, carries a vase. The faun's legs, in faithful figure of the Greek divinity, are those of a goat. The base of the lamp is enriched with pearls. Decor in the style of Claude Michel known as Clodion (1738-1814). The bronzes are finely chiseled by hand, a guarantee of quality manufacturing. The lamp is perfectly stable. Electrical system redone (for E14 bulb). Supplied with a beige lampshade, with yellow and green edging, very good condition; note, a small hole at the back of the lampshade (see last photo).
