The bowls are finely wheel-engraved and the stems appear to be applied and hand finished, typical of crystal made before widespread factory automation after the mid-20th century. Small air bubbles, known as “seeds, ” can be seen in the glass and are a reassuring sign of older glassmaking methods. The crystal has a soft warm tone and catches the light beautifully along the engraved arches and garlands.
