Set of four dining chairs RMS Queen Mary II Cunard White Star Liner

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely set of four original RMS Queen Mary II dining chairs from the 1920s. A truly magnificent and highly collectible set of dining chairs. The chairs come from the descendant of a former ship employee, tasked with disposing of some furniture during a renovation in the 1960s, who chose to keep these four as a memento. Their quality is fantastic, and it can be assumed that they were used in a library or office rather than in second or third-class decks. The wood has been fully cleaned, waxed, and polished; they show normal signs of age and use. The fabric is in generally good condition with a few light marks here and there. Approximate dimensions taken at the widest point: Height 85 cm, Width 56.5 cm, Depth 56.5 cm, Seat height 48 cm.
