A beautiful and unique old plaster fireplace where two half-naked women serve as columns. These are called caryatids, which are female figures used as pillars, originating from ancient Greece. The women support the central beam, which features a leaf motif and thistles. This beam fits into the groove at the back. The figures are finished with a restrained colour palette, making the set suitable for various interiors. The old decorative fireplace is made of plaster and comes from Belgium, from an old house. Probably made in Belgium or France at the end of the 19th or 20th century. A beautiful decorative piece for a classic home, stylish restaurant, or unique shop. Dimensions: Height: 121cm, Width: 160cm, Depth: 24cm. Fireplace height: 100.5cm, Fireplace width: 110cm (can be slightly widened by not fully inserting the central beam into the columns). Condition: Very good, with a few very small spots and some scratches on the central beam.
