Vintage rocking horse

This item is a decorative rocking horse from the Dutch brand Clayre & Eef, crafted in a distinctive vintage style. The piece evokes the nostalgic charm of yesteryear's toys, reinterpreted as a characterful decorative element. Made with a distressed finish, this horse features a colour palette primarily of browns, enhanced by black details on the harness and hooves, and a saddle in reddish tones. The surface has been intentionally aged to give it an authentically rustic appearance, highlighting the sculpting of the mane, tail, and musculature of the horse. The item is designed to be a decorative piece rather than a functional toy. The overall condition of the piece is good, in line with its aged aesthetic. The patina and signs of wear are integral to the design and contribute to its unique character, giving it the appearance of an object that has stood the test of time. This rocking horse fits perfectly into rustic, classic, or bohemian style interiors. It can be placed on a chest of drawers, a shelf, or on the floor in a living room or bedroom to add a touch of warmth and nostalgia.
