Rectangular low buffet

Elegant low buffet in a rectangular shape, opening at the front with two waist drawers and two richly veined doors. Front: The drawers are fitted with turned wooden knobs and a central keyhole. The doors have protruding frames and flat-panelled sections, revealing a beautiful walnut burr. Top: Solid wood top with a frame, showing a natural patina. Base: It rests on a protruding plinth ending in small "sabot" feet at the front, characteristic of the sobriety of the Louis-Philippe style. Interior: Fitted with a removable shelf. It retains its original locks and keys. Condition: Generally good condition for a home. Some normal signs of use (small scratches on the top, treated old wormholes, slightly sun-bleached patina). An interior shelf appears to have been reinforced or replaced.
