Antique majolica pumpkin jam jar

An early 20th century French Sarreguemines majolica pumpkin. Originally used to serve pumpkin jam. Stamped on the reverse Sarreguemines France. This Sarreguemines majolica piece features a charming orange and yellow glazed majolica lidded dish, resting on a beautifully detailed green leaf. A wonderful collector's item in excellent condition. Size: 23cm long (leaf) X 14cm high (pumpkin) X 20cm wide (at the widest point of the leaf). Origin: France, post-1919. Condition: Excellent, no chips, cracks, or repair work. A few black marks to the inside of the pot with some crazing. Rub marks to the bottom. Weight: 900g.
