Bauhaus / Modernist lamp brass/bakelite & opaline Mid Century 1940-50

💡BEAUTIFUL PIECE This very beautiful lamp, at the crossroads of Bauhaus / Modernist and late Art Deco styles, caught my eye at first glance for its elegance. After researching, similar models are often attributed to the Bauhaus creations of Marianne Brandt, but it was made in the 1940s to 50s. Its Bakelite push switch is mounted on a brass base. The dome globe is made of beige-tinted opaline with a golden trim. CONDITION: Good condition for its age. Note a small crack at the back of the push button, and wear in two places on the cable.
