Superb Mid-Century Modern table lamp from the 1960s/1970s. A unique piece, it features a spherical "ball" base made of Belgian art ceramic, showcasing a beautiful satin brown patina and texture. It is topped with its original authentic lampshade, entirely handmade. This artisanal weaving combines wool threads and rope in gradients of natural tones (ecru, beige, brown). Once the lamp is lit, the texture of the wool filters the light to create a warm, organic, and very subdued atmosphere, typical of rustic-chic design and the current Wabi-Sabi trend.
