Enfilade "Cansado", designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1957. Imagined for the mining town of Cansado in Mauritania, this sideboard embodies the functional rigor and refined elegance characteristic of Charlotte Perriand. Its mahogany veneer structure features two contrasting sliding doors, one white and the other black, accompanied by four side drawers. The whole rests on a black lacquered metal base, giving the piece a sense of lightness and modernity. Edition: Steph Simon, 1956-1974. Reference: Jacques Barsac, Charlotte Perriand, the Complete Works, Volume 3: 1956-1968, Norma, 2017, p. 117.
