Louis XVI chairs

Charming pair of Louis XVI style chairs, from the 19th century, in gray rechampi painted wood. The medallion backs are carved with ribbons and rosettes, typical of this refined style. Seats and backs upholstered in an antique silk fabric with floral decoration, fixed by gilded and patinated nails, beautiful upholsterer's work. The chairs rest on fluted tapered legs. Original patina with traces of time and small wear (see photos), which adds to the charm and authenticity. Elegant pieces, ideal for a classic living room, a romantic bedroom or a shabby chic decor. Condition: good structural condition, fabric in good condition, original paint and patina.
