Set of four artisanal stoneware bowls with a pronounced mineral aesthetic. Each piece features a round and generous shape, with thick walls and a gentle curve. The exterior, left raw in a slightly nuanced warm ochre shade, is punctuated by black pyrite flecks, resembling natural inclusions in the material. The interior is glazed in a pale clouded celadon green, accented with irregular dark projections that give each bowl a unique character. The set evokes the work of a craft workshop from the 70s–80s, in the spirit of French stoneware productions from Puisaye or La Borne, although no signature is present. The subtle differences in glaze and distribution of inclusions testify to entirely manual work and a lively firing process. In good vintage condition, with a small discreet chip on the rim of one piece and two tiny hairline cracks on the edge of another (see photos). Diameter 14 cm, height 5.5 cm. Organic charm, perfect for a contemporary textured table with a wabi-sabi spirit and warm minimalism.
