2 chairs in chromed metal and black woven skaï 1970s

Pair of chairs dating from the 1970s composed of a backrest and a seat formed by a round-shaped and thermofolded chromed metal structure connected by several horizontal chromed metal rods and slightly curved to best fit the shape of the body, a double chromed metal base and curved from the center of the seat to the backrest both connected by a metal horseshoe-shaped chair leg chrome plated. A rectangular skai cake falsely braided and padded with a foam bread forms the cake for the backrest and seat. Four skaï links with snaps allow the cake to be attached to the chrome structure to keep it in place. Solid and stable, these chairs in very good general condition have been restored by us: we have completely removed the rust from the chrome to restore all its shine and have completely cleaned the patties and tinted them in shallow black - or a very dark anthracite gray - while keeping an authentic patina. Some scratches are to be noted on the chrome due to their use and some shades of shades also to be noted on the cakes. Ideal to join your kitchen or office, this pair of chairs will find its place in any type of interior and will bring a vintage and design touch to your decoration. Seat height, h43 cm.
