Niels Otto Moller Set of 8 Model 79 Dining Chairs in Rosewood and Leather for JL Mollers 1966

Set of 8 dining chairs, model 79, designed by niels otto moller in 1966 for jl mollers mobelfabrik denmark. The chairs are marked under the seats. The chairs are executed in the most exclusive version with a solid rosewood frame and cognac leather upholstery. The chairs come from the boardroom of the dutch bank (dnb) in amsterdam. They were used there until the early 1990s and were taken over by a bank employee from whom we acquired them. The chairs are completely in their original condition. The rosewood has a beautiful grain and the cognac leather blends perfectly with it. Superb craftsmanship and a very elegant design with attention to detail. The chairs are still in good condition. The rosewood is very beautiful and the leather has a nice patina. No damage, no cracks. Some normal traces of use. Four chairs have slight marks/dimples on the seats, due to stacking the chairs in storage where they were for quite a long time. See photos. We also have a lovely finn juhl rosewood dining table, which will make a fantastic combination with the chairs, as seen in the last photo.
