Decorative plate abstract face Picasso Madoura style – Vintage

For sale: beautiful round vintage ceramic plate, featuring a very expressive and colourful abstract face design (1960s). Painted decoration: round blue eyes, large red nose, black and red mouth, asymmetrical cheeks (grey and yellow), border with radiating black lines. A stunning decorative piece full of character! On the back: handwritten inscriptions "N° 75", "EDITION Picasso", "179/500", "MADOURA" and embossed stamps "EDITION PICASSO" and "MADOURA PLEIN FEU". Specifications: Diameter: exactly 25 cm. Weight: 905 g. Condition: good vintage condition, natural glaze crazing (normal for its age), small minor chip ("pock") on the inner rim of the base (see photos – a minor wear defect). Ideal for wall decoration or placed on a shelf, it adds an arty and colourful touch to your interior. (Note: strongly reminiscent of the "Face" ceramics by Pablo Picasso from the 60s, but number not identified in public references → sold as a lovely vintage decorative piece.).
